African American Environmentalist Association (AAEA) - The association, founded in 1985, is an environmental organization dedicated to protecting the environment, enhancing human, animal and plant ecologies, promoting the efficient use of natural resources and increasing African American participation in the environmental movement. The website includes several pages on nuclear energy.

Citizens for Nuclear Technology Awareness (CNTA) - This is a non-profit, grassroots organization that carries out educational programmess to provide factual information about the benefits and risks of nuclear technologies and the Savannah River Site in the USA.

Clean and Safe Energy Coalition (CASEnergy) - This US group supports the increased use of nuclear energy to ensure an environmentally clean, safe, affordable and reliable supply of electricity.

Environmentalists for Nuclear Energy (EFN) - EFN was founded around the pro- nuclear campaigning of Bruno Comby, the current president of the organisation. The site contains information about Comby himself, the history of EFN and a petition supporting nuclear energy. The aim of the site and of EFN itself is to generate a network of support groups to campaign in favour of nuclear energy.

Environmentalists for Nuclear Power (MFK) - The majority of this site is in SWEDISH, but there is a single page about the organisation in English.

Friends of the Earth (FOE) - The largest international network of environmental groups in the world, represented in 61 countries.

Greenpeace International - Greenpeace is a non-profit organisation, with a presence in 40 countries across Europe, the Americas, Asia and the Pacific.

IGC Internet- This is best described as an 'alternative' directory, providing access to information on a range of topics including anti-nuclear activism, alternative medicine, native peoples, renewable energy sources, etc.

Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) - This is a US national, non-profit organization of scientists, lawyers and environmental specialists dedicated to protecting public health and the environment. Founded in 1970, NRDC has 1.2 million members and online activists nationwide, served from offices in New York, Washington, Los Angeles and San Francisco.

New Zealand Atomic Energy Advocacy Council (NZAEAC) - This is an informal group whose objectives are to promote the peaceful use of nuclear technology in diverse applications.

Nuclear Control Institute (NCI) - The NCI's main interest is to oppose the use of plutonium in the civil nuclear fuel cycle.

Nuclear Information and Resource Service (NIRS) - NIRS is a gathering of anti-nuclear information, mainly based in the USA.

Supporters of Nuclear Energy (SONE) - This is a group of individuals of many different disciplines, interests and backgrounds who have come together to promote an informed debate about how the world's economic development is to be fuelled in a sustainable way and nuclear power's place in global energy supply.

World Information Service on Energy (WISE) - This is an anti-nuclear pressure group which publishes a regular newsletter. The site contains a section on uranium mining, as well as a directory of conversion, enrichment and fabrication and MOX plants.

Worldwatch Institute (WI) - Worldwatch is a non-profit public policy research organization dedicated to informing policymakers and the public about emerging global problems and trends and the complex links between the world economy and its environmental support systems.
